Charlie’s story starts in Kentucky with AMPA Registered Breeder Little Rooters Mini Pigs where he was born. He was laid back from the very begining, a perfect personalitly for volunteer therapy work! 

Charlie’s mom Kyndall Smith realizes how wonderful mini pigs can be when properly trained and socialized. She is working with Charlie to become a registered Therapy Animal through Pet Partners, a 501c3 organization formerly known as The Delta Society.  Pet Partners certifies and insures pets nationwide giving these animal/handler teams the  opportunity to visit hospitals, schools, nursing homes, and other care facilites to bring cheer and therapy to residents and students. Charlie makes appearances in the Tri Cities area of Tennessee. He is pictured above making a friend at the nursing home he visited for an Easter parade. Charlie continues to touch lives in his community. He is an AMPA Mini Pig Hero!
