Food & Water Keep 3 days worth

of food & water stored in airtight 

containers for travels. Additional

foods suitable for mini pigs short

term are oatmeal, multi grain low 

sugar cereals (Cheerios, etc), seeds, 

nuts, and other healthy snacks.

Help Rescue Workers Find & Reunite Your Pets

Find Accommodations Plan ahead where you will stay during evacuation. Understand most public shelters will not allow pets. Friends or pet friendly hotels may be considered. 

 

Familiar Items Bring along blankets, toys, or treat dispensers that may help keep your pig comfortable or entertained during travels. 

 

Photo Carry a photo of you & your pet. This can be useful if you become separated. You can use the photo to network and help finding the lost pet. If the pet is found your photo will prove ownership so the rescuing agency will release the pet back to you quickly.
